Several Canadian scam height increase companies were shutdown in early 2005 but unfortunately, many others have come along to take their place. In November 2006, the Federal Trace Commission filed a complaint against Sunny Health Nutrition, makers of HeightMax, the most advertized product in this category. The company shut down its Web sites and was fined $1.9 million based on deceptive advertising claims. There are 48 companies that are active. The United States leads with the most companies:

Several companies don't even list their address on their Web sites. We had to find their location from the Whois database of Internet Domain Names. This should raise a red flag to anyone considering a purchase. These are most likely single person operations who resell products manufactured by other companies. Two companies even uses a Private Domain Name Registration to hide their true identity.

We suspect that many of the companies listed below are run by the same people but it's difficult to prove unless we find some corelation in mail addreses or web address registrations.
