THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL STUDY!

My name is Leslie Rott and I am a Ph.D. student in Sociology at the University of Michigan. I am conducting research on the experiences of those who have been treated with growth hormones. I will be conducting one-time, (at the most) two-hour interviews with participants to discuss issues connected to their past and present experiences with growth hormones and how growth hormones have impacted their life. These interviews will be scheduled at mutually convenient times and conducted via telephone or in person, depending on location of participant.

Each participant will receive $15 for their time, plus an additional $2 (up to an additional $10) for the names and contact information of others the participant knows who have been treated with growth hormones. If you feel you might be eligible for this study, and are interested in participating, please contact me by email at lesliero@umich.edu. Please also list some dates and times that you would be available for an interview over the next couple weeks (as well as the telephone number I should use when calling you). This research project has been reviewed for compliance with federal regulations for human participants and approved (further information is available upon request).
